  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour to thicken the filling
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg beaten, for egg wash

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour together.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut them into small circles using a cookie cutter or glass.
  4. Place half the dough circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Spoon a small amount of the apple mixture onto the center of each circle.
  6. Top with the remaining dough rounds and press edges with a fork to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden shine.
  8. Cut a small slit in the top of each pie to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
